Your storage information appears at the top of your dashboard and includes:
β’ Total storage included in your plan
β’ Used storage (all files, folders, and shared imports)
β’ Available storage
β’ Your current plan name
This gives you a clear snapshot of your space at all times.
The following items count toward your total storage:
β’ Files you upload
β’ Folders you upload
β’ Files shared with you that you import into your drive
β’ Copies of files you create
β’ Files restored from Trash
Anything inside your drive contributes to your usage.
These items do not count toward your storage:
β’ Items in Trash (until permanently deleted)
β’ Files shared with you that you view only
β’ Files you access through a public link without importing
This helps you collaborate without filling your space.
π Understanding Plan Limits
Each plan includes a different amount of storage:
β’ 1GB Limited β Free
β’ StarterCloud β 20GB
β’ FileFlex Pack β 300GB
β’ DataStream Pro β 1TB
Your dashboard always shows which plan youβre on so you know how much space you have available.
If you reach your planβs storage limit:
β’ You cannot upload new files
β’ You cannot import shared files
β’ You cannot make copies
β’ You cannot restore items from Trash
Your existing files remain safe and accessible, but you must free space or upgrade to continue uploading.
You can reduce your usage by:
β’ Deleting large files
β’ Emptying your Trash
β’ Removing duplicate files
β’ Downloading and archiving old content
β’ Moving files to external storage
Your storage panel updates instantly as space is freed.
If you need more space, you can upgrade at any time.
Steps:
β’ Open Account Settings
β’ Go to Billing & Plans
β’ Choose a plan with more storage
β’ Confirm your upgrade
Your new storage limit becomes active immediately.
To stay organized:
β’ Check your storage panel regularly
β’ Sort files by size to find large items
β’ Use folders to group content
β’ Remove old or unused files
β’ Keep Trash clean
This ensures your workspace stays fast and efficient.
