Fixing Verification Code Issues

Verification codes are required for login, email confirmation, password resets, and security checks. If your code isn’t arriving, is delayed, or shows as invalid, the issue is usually related to email filtering, timing, or browser/network restrictions. This guide explains the most common causes and how to resolve them.

📬 Check Your Email Inbox and Spam Folder

Verification emails often arrive within seconds, but they can be filtered.

If the email was filtered, future codes will arrive normally once corrected.

🕒 Wait 1–2 Minutes for Delivery

Some email providers delay messages.

Only the most recent code is valid.

🔄 Request a New Code

If the code hasn’t arrived after a few minutes:

Each new request invalidates the previous code.

📧 Check for Email Typos

A small typo can prevent the code from reaching you.

If the email is wrong, the code cannot be delivered.

🛡️ Check Email Filters or Security Settings

Some email systems block automated messages.

Corporate or school email systems may require IT approval.

🌐 Disable VPNs or Proxies

VPNs can cause verification checks to fail.

If the code works without the VPN, the issue is network-related.

🖥️ Try Another Browser or Device

Browser issues can block the verification prompt or code submission.

If it works elsewhere, the issue is browser-specific.

⏱️ Make Sure the Code Hasn’t Expired

Verification codes expire for security reasons.

Expired codes will always show as invalid.

🔐 Check for Account Lockouts

Too many incorrect attempts may temporarily block verification.

This protects your account from unauthorized access.
